When the game begins, your phone opens a private dossier. Mafia hide in plain sight. Innocents hunt for the truth. The Doctor may guard one life each night, and the Detective may follow one private lead. Keep your screen and your role to yourself.

Night belongs to quiet decisions

When darkness falls, every living player answers a private prompt. Mafia secretly choose a target. The Doctor protects someone. The Detective investigates one person. Everyone else privately keeps watch, so tapping a phone never identifies a role. Only real role actions affect the night; every response stays sealed.

Morning brings only public facts

At dawn, the city receives one public report: who was lost, who survived, or whether the night ended without a victim. Private actions and Detective findings remain private. The app tells the same impartial story on every phone.

Talk openly. Vote privately.

Use discussion to question alibis, compare suspicions, and make your case. When voting opens, each living player casts one secret ballot on their own phone. The app reveals the verdict, never the individual votes. A tie means no one is eliminated.

The clock is a guardrail, not a jailer

Discussion and voting have visible timers. During discussion, tap Ready when you are prepared to vote. During voting, your ballot also marks you ready. If every connected living player is ready, the phase advances early. Need another minute? A living human may add sixty seconds, up to two times in each phase.

Only one side leaves the shadows

The Town wins by eliminating every Mafia member. Mafia wins the moment they equal or outnumber everyone else still alive. Eliminated players may watch, but they can no longer act or vote. There is no human host with secret access—the app deals, listens, counts, and closes the case.
